Dear Families,

This week we are reminded that we are in Texas, as Sunday we had nearly 80 degree temperatures, and looking forward to 3 inches of snow on Tuesday. Change is a way of life at Hope House, and we do the best we can to foresee and adapt to those changes. Life over the last two years has been anything but business as usual, as we move forward to expand services for our populations that have fallen through the cracks in the past. Our Assisted Living Facility is in full swing currently, and doing very well. Our HCS program is right on track, as we are in the building phase of a beautiful group home here in Liberty Hill. Our push to help spruce up the Children's Wing, is going well with grants written for a new air conditioning/heating system to replace the aging system, and new decorations of the individual rooms.

As a side note, I have just been informed of a new park especially for children and adults with special needs. It's called Morgan's Wonderland, and is located in San Antonio. I think the idea is long over due, and I intend to make sure that Hope House does what it can to support this new venture.
